Raipur/ After the end of one month long Patwaris strike, the government has accepted their two demands. Now there will be a departmental inquiry against the patwaris before the FIR. Its order has been issued. Also, the grade pay has been increased from Rs 2,200 to Rs 2,400.

The striking Patwaris had placed their eight demands in front of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. In this, information was given about giving rights to SDM for patwari exam, stationery allowance, correction of errors in the system. The Chief Minister has assured to conduct tests on these demands. All the collectors have been directed by the land records branch.
It is being told that the demand for stationery, computer and allowance of Rs 1500 has already been included in the budget. The implementation of which is possible in the near future. Apart from this, in the demands of Patwaris, leave the headquarter residence i.e. stay in the Patwari headquarters, additional charge and patwari qualification graduation, these have been rejected outright by saying impractical. At the same time, during the strike period, the salary of the Patwaris is being cut directly. Because in such a situation there are only two ways. Either the government should make it unpaid or cut their holidays. In both the circumstances, Patwaris have to suffer loss.

Members of Revenue Patwari Sangh clashed with each other after the strike was over, a meeting was organized by the Patwari Sangh in Bhatagaon on Friday. In this, the issue of non-discussion with the union members regarding withdrawal of the strike arose and the Patwaris clashed with each other. Meanwhile, Bhagwat Kashyap, president of the Revenue Patwari Union, did not even reach to meet the members after informing them to end the strike.

Chhattisgarh Revenue Department Secretary NN Ekka said that rules have already been made for this by the Chhattisgarh government. Whatever decision will come from the government on salary, further action will be taken on the same basis. The strike period consists of two situations. One is to adjust the unpaid or leave, the third is not an option.
