Korea / Keeping in view the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections 2023, under the well-organized voter awareness campaign under the efficient direction of Collector and District Election Officer Vinay Kumar Geh, dummy polling was conducted in Sonhat Bazar on July 19 to make voters aware of the wide publicity and voting process of EVMs and VV PET machines from July 19 to August 18, 2023 in all Haat markets under Vahsil Sonhat.
It may be noted that under the tehsil, two teams of master trainers will inform voters about the process of voting through EVM machines in total 22 haat markets. Officer-in-charge of the SVEEP program and Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat has asked the sarpanch secretaries of all gram panchayats to ensure necessary arrangements in Haat Bazar for wide publicity related to voting. Organized on this occasion Tehsildar Prateek Jaiswal, CEO A. Panna BDO Arvind Kumar Singh, Master Trainer Virendra Mishra, Ramesh Kumar Gupta and villagers were present.
