New Delhi/ Defense Secretary Giridhar Armane has held talks with Myanmar's top military leadership on security issues including maintaining peace along the border. Armaane was on a two-day visit to Myanmar which ended on Saturday, according to the Defense Ministry. Armaane met Senior General Min Aung Hlaing in Naypyidaw. He also met Myanmar's Defense Minister Gen (Retd) Mya Toon Oo. Also held meetings with Admiral Moe Aung, Commander-in-Chief of the Navy and Defense Industry Head Lt Gen Khan Mprint Than, the Defense Ministry said in a statement. Got a chance to pick it up. Navy to extend lease of two Predator drones taken in 2020 Navy is planning to extend the lease of two Predator drones taken in 2020. These drones have flown more than 12,000 hours for surveillance across the country including the border with China. Both these drones were inducted into the Navy under emergency powers on lease in November 2020 during the initial phase of the military standoff with China and since then the Navy has been using them extensively. Defense sources told that we are planning to extend the lease of these two Predator drones, as the contract is going to end by the end of this year
