PM Modi laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth 7500 crores in Raipur

Raipur/New Delhi - Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth about Rs 7500 crore in Raipur and dedicated them to the nation. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 5 National Highway projects worth about Rs 6,400 crore. The Prime Minister also dedicated to the nation the doubling of the 103-km Raipur-Khariar Road Rail Line, constructed at a cost of Rs 750 crore. The 17 kilometer long new railway line connecting Keoti Antagarh has been constructed at a cost of Rs 290 crore. In addition, the Prime Minister dedicated to the nation the bottling plant of the Indian Oil Corporation with a capacity of 60,000 metric tonnes per annum at Korba built at a cost of over Rs 130 crore. He also flagged off Antagarh Raipur train through video link. Additionally, the Prime Minister launched the distribution of 75 lakh cards to the beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat.
Addressing the public meeting, the Prime Minister said that today's occasion is very important for the development journey of Chhattisgarh as the state is getting development projects worth more than 7000 crores in areas like infrastructure and connectivity. He mentioned that today's projects would make life easier for the people and strengthen the healthcare system in the state. He emphasized that these projects will increase employment opportunities in the state, as well as benefit paddy farmers, mineral industry and tourism industry of Chhattisgarh. Congratulating the people of the state for the projects, the Prime Minister said that today's projects will mark a new journey of development and convenience in the tribal areas of Chhattisgarh.
