Rahul Gandhi will meet like-minded leaders

Imphal/Former Congress President and former MP Rahul Gandhi reached Manipur on Thursday. He will meet the affected families again today. Congress President Keesham Meghchandra told that Rahul has come here only for peace. He will meet 10 like-minded leaders for this.

According to the state Congress president, Rahul Gandhi is leaving for Moirang. He will meet all the affected families and visit the relief camps. After that, he will return to Imphal. He further told that Rahul Gandhi will stay in Imphal hotel.

He said Rahul Gandhi would meet 10 like-minded people here, including leaders of civil society organisations, leaders of the United Naga Council and leaders of political parties. During this, talks will be held on efforts to restore normalcy in Manipur. Meghchandra said that Rahul has come here for peace. He will make all necessary efforts for this.

Significantly, former Congress President and former MP Rahul Gandhi reached Manipur on Thursday. After reaching Imphal, he was going towards Churachandpur to visit the relief camps. That's why the police stopped his convoy on the way.
