Baikunthpur - Korea The third phase of voting in Korba Lok Sabha parliamentary seat is to be held on May 7. The administration has made all preparations for the elections in all the polling centers of Baikunthpur and Sonhat (partial) development blocks of Koriya district. Collector and District Election Officer Vinay Kumar Langeh inspected the Strong premises before the departure of the polling parties. He instructed the concerned officers and employees to reach at the appointed time on 6th May.
More than 16 lakh voters from 8 assembly constituencies of Korba, Korea, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur districts will participate in Korba Lok Sabha seat. On May 6, polling officers will leave for the polling centers of Baikunthpur and Sonhat (partial) development blocks of Koriya district along with voting material to conduct voting for more than 2 lakh voters.
