New Delhi/ The skyrocketing prices of tomatoes will come down in 15 days due to increase in supply from production centres. Retail prices will come down immediately in Delhi, as the supply of tomatoes from Himachal Pradesh's Solan and Sirmaur has increased. Tomato prices have reached Rs 120 a kg in many parts of the country. However, according to the consumer ministry, the average price is Rs 56 per kg. Consumer Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh said, every year the prices of tomatoes increase at this time. In every country, the price of each agricultural product goes up or down depending on the season.
