New Delhi/ On Friday, May 3, 2024, a new history was made in the ancestral Lok Sabha seat of Rae Bareli Congress. Rahul Gandhi started the political journey of the third generation of Gandhi family from Rae Bareli by filing nomination from Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat. The crown prince of Congress took over the political legacy of mother Sonia Gandhi in Rae Bareli. Talking about the history of Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat, Firoz Gandhi first contested and won the elections in 1952
