There was an objection to a dialogue shown about Sita in this film, after which it has been banned in Kathmandu, Nepal. Meanwhile, screening of all Hindi films except Adipurush has started in Karathmandu. While the ban on the film has been lifted.

The Nepal Motion Pictures Association said in a statement that all Nepali and foreign films except Adipurush will be screened from Friday.
